📋 Description

• • Join the Pune-based engineering powerhouse at HCL Software, the division of HCL Technologies that is re-imagining enterprise-grade software for the modern world. You will be embedded in a high-performing, cross-functional agile squad whose mission is to modernize and continuously enhance our core Engine, SDK, and connectivity layers that power thousands of global customers.
• • Own the full development life-cycle for new and enhanced product capabilities: from requirements feasibility analysis through estimation, design generation, implementation, and rigorous validation. Your code will ship in every release and will directly influence the performance, scalability, and reliability of our on-premises, SaaS, and managed-service offerings.
• • Diagnose and resolve complex product issues at their root, ensuring zero regression in existing functionality or downstream systems. You will become the go-to troubleshooter for memory leaks, threading anomalies, and performance bottlenecks across Windows, Linux, and AIX environments.
• • Collaborate daily with Product Architects, QA automation engineers, DevOps specialists, and product managers in two-week sprints. You will participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, design reviews, and retros—driving continuous improvement in both product and process.
• • Champion modern C++ best practices—RAII, smart pointers, move semantics, and template metaprogramming—while mentoring junior engineers on memory management, concurrency, and clean API design. Your pull-request reviews will set the bar for code quality and maintainability.
• • Extend and harden our Continuous Integration pipeline (Jenkins, Maven, Tycho, Git) by adding incremental build optimizations, static-analysis gates, and automated regression suites. You will help shrink build times and expand test coverage so the team can deliver value faster.
• • Contribute to our polyglot codebase by leveraging 1+ years of Java 11+ experience to build interoperability layers, SDK samples, and micro-service connectors. Your dual fluency in C++ and Java will enable seamless data exchange between legacy engines and cloud-native services.
• • Influence product roadmap decisions by translating customer pain points and business requirements into elegant technical solutions. You will present proof-of-concepts, performance benchmarks, and risk assessments to stakeholders in both engineering and business forums.
• • Maintain and evolve existing product releases by back-porting critical fixes, refactoring legacy modules, and adding telemetry hooks that feed our observability stack. Your work ensures that long-term-support customers continue to receive secure, high-performance updates.
• • Foster an inclusive, knowledge-sharing culture where every voice is heard. You will lead brown-bag sessions on advanced C++ features, conduct code katas, and pair-program with teammates to raise collective expertise and deliver software that reflects the diversity of our global user base.
