Localization Manager

📋 Description

• • Lead end-to-end localization strategy for web products across 30+ languages including French, German, Spanish, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, and others.
• • Manage translation and localization of diverse content types: UX copy, PPC and SEO landing pages, blogs, marketing campaigns, emails, and legal documentation.
• • Maintain and enhance existing localized content through regular audits, quality improvements, and updates for new product releases.
• • Implement and optimize AI-powered tools within localization workflows to increase efficiency and consistency while preserving cultural nuance.
• • Identify, onboard, and manage native-speaking specialists for proofreading, prompt engineering, content rewriting, and cultural adaptation.
• • Coordinate and oversee localization QA processes, including manual testing of localized interfaces and functionality across languages.
• • Track and analyze key marketing, product, and operational metrics to measure the impact of localization efforts on user engagement and business growth.
• • Optimize localization budget and vendor spending through data-driven decisions and process streamlining.
• • Utilize translation management systems (Crowdin, Localazy, or similar) to manage workflows, terminology, translation memory, and collaboration with vendors.
• • Ensure linguistic and cultural accuracy of all localized materials to meet regional user expectations and compliance standards.
• • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align localization timelines with product launches and campaign cycles.
• • Advocate for user-centric localization practices that enhance accessibility, usability, and brand trust in global markets.
• • Drive continuous improvement of localization processes by introducing scalable frameworks, automation, and best practices from industry standards.
• • Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to multilingual content delivery across the company’s global product ecosystem.
• • Contribute to the expansion of localization coverage into new markets by evaluating language demand, resource needs, and cultural readiness.
• • Document and share localization guidelines, style guides, and cultural notes to standardize quality and reduce rework across teams.
• • Stay updated on evolving trends in global digital content, translation technology, and UX writing to maintain competitive localization standards.
• • Support the localization of legal and compliance-related content to ensure adherence to regional regulations and user trust requirements.
