đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Technical Program Manager (PEO) at PointClickCare Technologies Inc., you will be a pivotal force in shaping our product outcomes and driving strategic initiatives across our dynamic engineering and product ecosystem. You are instrumental in our evolution towards a product-led organization, where success is measured by tangible outcomes and operational health is defined by seamless flow. Your role sits at the critical intersection of product, engineering, and platform, empowering every team to deliver with unparalleled purpose, speed, and measurable impact.
  • • You will be responsible for bringing clarity to complex challenges, aligning diverse teams around shared objectives, and accelerating the delivery of value with precision and foresight. This role reports directly to the Director, Delivery Orchestration, placing you at the heart of our delivery strategy.
  • • A core aspect of your responsibility is to enable product outcomes. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering Leads to translate high-level strategy and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) into actionable, coordinated execution plans. Your focus will be on ensuring that empowered teams remain laser-focused on delivering significant customer and business value, consistently and predictably.
  • • You will orchestrate complex, multi-team initiatives that span across product development, infrastructure enhancements, and platform capabilities. This involves ensuring seamless alignment among all involved parties, maintaining clear visibility into interdependencies, and fostering sustainable delivery flow across the organization.
  • • Driving clarity and flow is paramount. You will work to eliminate ambiguity by effectively connecting business intent with execution signals. Utilizing delivery and outcome metrics, you will inform, rather than dictate, decision-making processes, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and informed action.
  • • A key differentiator for this role is the harnessing of AI for insight. You will leverage AI-driven analytics to proactively surface potential risks, detect bottlenecks in our delivery pipelines, and generate actionable recommendations. These insights will be crucial for enhancing team velocity, improving predictability, and optimizing overall delivery performance.
  • • You will champion empowered delivery by coaching teams on adopting healthy operating rhythms and data-driven practices. This involves striking a balance between fostering team autonomy and ensuring strategic alignment, enabling teams to operate at their highest potential.
  • • Bridging strategy to execution is a critical function. You will facilitate alignment among senior leaders in product, design, and engineering. This includes making trade-offs transparent, ensuring decisions are explicit, and establishing shared accountability for program success.
  • • You will play a significant role in shaping our systems and culture. By contributing to how PointClickCare executes at scale, you will help evolve shared tools, processes, and frameworks that amplify the impact of our work across the entire product portfolio.
  • • AI fluency and curiosity are essential. You should possess a solid understanding of applied AI concepts and be comfortable using AI tools to support your analysis, documentation, and decision-making processes. An awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices within engineering environments is also highly valued.
  • • To foster strong collaboration and strategic alignment, you will be expected to travel to company onsite locations approximately 25% of the time. This travel is essential for eligibility for the role.
  • • Your ability to connect dots across the entire portfolio will be crucial in driving outcome alignment and accelerating flow. You will be a coach and mentor to teams, guiding them to operate with greater autonomy, enhanced velocity, and more robust data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • • You will embody AI-first leadership, serving as a role model for intelligent ways of working that elevate how the organization learns, adapts, and executes its strategic objectives. This includes proactively identifying opportunities to integrate AI into our workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of complex software programs, from inception through to successful delivery. This includes defining program scope, objectives, and deliverables, as well as developing detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • • You will facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, QA, design, and operations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the program lifecycle.
  • • Your technical fluency will enable you to engage in meaningful discussions about system architectures, APIs, and integration patterns, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives and architectural best practices.
  • • You will be adept at identifying and mitigating program risks and issues, developing contingency plans, and escalating critical problems to senior management when necessary.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your teams and across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • • 5+ years of experience leading complex software programs in a Technical Program Manager (TPM), Enterprise Program Manager (EPM), or similar role.
  • • 3+ years of experience driving multi-team initiatives across product and platform or infrastructure.
  • • Proven track record delivering complex SaaS programs that span multiple teams and domains (platform, product, data).
  • • Technical fluency in modern software systems, including understanding of system architectures, APIs, and integration patterns, with the ability to engage in technical design conversations.
  • • Experience translating strategy and OKRs into execution plans, managing dependencies, risks, and delivery health signals.
  • • Proficiency with program execution and delivery tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or equivalents for planning, dependency management, status reporting, and stakeholder visibility.
  • • Experience using metrics to improve predictability, flow, and outcomes, with comfort using AI tools to support analysis and decision-making.
  • • Systems-level thinking, with the ability to identify cross-cutting dependencies and reason about how one program impacts others.
  • • Strong influence without authority skills, including the ability to align stakeholders, manage conflict, and build consensus across teams with differing priorities.
  • • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to define and use meaningful metrics to track health, predict issues, and drive decisions.
  • • Bias toward action and ownership, with the ability to drive clarity and momentum when ambiguity arises.
  • • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and status updates to technical teams, product partners, and senior leadership.
  • • Passion for using technology, including AI, to improve how teams work, decide, and deliver.
  • • AI fluency and curiosity, including an understanding of applied AI concepts and awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices.
  • • Willingness to travel to company onsite locations approximately 25% of the time for eligibility.
