  • • The Care Team Operations Manager serves as the operational backbone of Brightline’s clinical teams, translating care priorities into reliable, repeatable workflows that enable scalable, high-quality mental health care delivery for children, teens, and families. This role is critical to ensuring clinical teams can focus on patient care by owning the systems, processes, and coordination that keep operations running smoothly at scale.
  • • Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this position acts as the operational thought partner to clinical leadership, bridging strategy and execution by maintaining visibility into staffing, scheduling, and workflow dependencies while driving continuous improvement across multidisciplinary care functions.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning end-to-end operational execution across care team functions, managing project timelines, and ensuring workflows, handoffs, and processes run consistently and efficiently—acting as the central coordination point for care team operations.
  • • The role involves owning and continuously improving care team workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational playbooks, ensuring documentation is scalable, up-to-date, and consistently followed across coaching, therapy, psychiatry, and hybrid clinic service lines.
  • • As the operational point of contact for care team tooling, the manager coordinates issue escalation, staff support, and vendor relationships—including renewals, performance accountability, and recommendations for tooling investments or changes.
  • • They proactively identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and risks, leading process improvement initiatives and triaging competing demands to ensure care team capacity is allocated effectively in real time.
  • • The manager drives consistent integration of collaboration elements into daily workflows and meetings, maintaining and improving multidisciplinary collaboration models to enhance care quality, clinician support, and patient outcomes.
  • • They create visibility into care team operational health by tracking capacity, workflow performance, and execution against care priorities, partnering closely with operations teams to remove blockers and ensure process adherence.
  • • Ongoing operational programs—including daytime and summer utilization, multidisciplinary care coordination, AI-enabled care quality workflows, and clinician engagement—are managed and optimized to run smoothly on a recurring basis.
  • • The role ensures care team initiatives are appropriately resourced, delivered on time, and aligned with clinical, operational, and business goals, serving as a force multiplier for care delivery excellence.

  • • 5+ years of experience in operations management or care operations within healthcare, digital health, or similarly complex environments
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, ongoing operational workflows with competing priorities and frequent ambiguity
  • • Experience owning operational processes, SOPs, and workflow documentation in a healthcare or care operations setting
  • • Strong comfort partnering with senior care and care operations leaders and influencing without direct authority
  • • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, venture-backed environment strongly preferred
