  • • The CBO Specialist role at ProMedica Health System is essential for ensuring accurate billing, posting, and collection processes for ProMedica Physicians and affiliated entities, directly supporting the organization’s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include inputting billing information, verifying insurance benefits and limits, reviewing patient obligations, processing debits, credits, refunds, bad debt, and contractual allowances, and collaborating with management to resolve billing obstacles that impact quality and timeliness.
  • • ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit healthcare organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, serving communities across nine states with over 10 hospitals, 1,300+ employed providers, and 2,300+ physicians and advanced practice providers, recognized nationally for clinical excellence and social determinant initiatives.
