  • • Lead and manage the Due Diligence (KYB/KYC) team responsible for end-to-end customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes within Allica Bank’s Operations function.
  • • Ensure seamless customer experience across digital account opening, in-life servicing, and customer communications via telephony, email, and in-app channels.
  • • Oversee workflow prioritization and adherence to SLAs for KYB/KYC cases, escalating issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
  • • Conduct ongoing quality control (QC) on customer due diligence cases, identifying gaps in process or performance and sharing best practices to drive team improvement.
  • • Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members, including performance management, training, and career development planning.
  • • Maintain and update operational trackers including Run the Bank, KYB workflow, and campaign impact dashboards to ensure accurate, real-time visibility into team performance.
  • • Act as the first point of contact for team queries, triaging issues before escalation to senior management and providing clear guidance on procedures.
  • • Collaborate closely with Business Relationship Managers, Underwriting, and Asset Finance teams to gather documentation, resolve bottlenecks, and support lending pipeline progression.
  • • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely data exchange, compliance, and service delivery.
  • • Execute delegated authority tasks including 4-eye checks, payment approvals, and drawdown sign-offs in accordance with bank policy and regulatory standards.
  • • Create, maintain, and enforce standardized operating procedures for the KYB/KYC function, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • • Accurately record and maintain audit trails for all customer cases within FMS and the Core Banking System, ensuring full compliance with conduct and Treating Customers Fairly requirements.
  • • Generate and analyze reports using Excel, SharePoint, and SQL to monitor team productivity, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • • Support change initiatives across Operations by providing operational insights, feedback, and implementation support for process improvements.
  • • Ensure all team activities comply with regulatory and statutory obligations, bank policies, and internal controls to mitigate risk and protect the bank’s reputation.
  • • Communicate effectively with Introducers and Business Relationship Managers to obtain necessary documentation for loan application assessments.
  • • Maintain accurate internal records for management information (MI) and monitoring purposes, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity aligned with Allica Bank’s brand and cultural values.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience as a people manager in a fast-paced financial services or banking environment
  • • Strong working knowledge of KYB/KYC processes, commercial lending pipelines, and regulatory compliance in credit operations
  • • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and SQL for reporting and data analysis
  • • Experience managing SLAs, workflow prioritization, and quality assurance in customer due diligence or operations
  • • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • • Deep understanding of Conduct and Treating Customers Fairly requirements in financial services
