- • Drive Class-A commercial vehicles to transport drilling equipment, materials, and supplies to residential geothermal drilling sites within a 75-mile radius of Peekskill, NY, primarily in New York and New Jersey
- • Secure and tie down heavy, complex loads using straps and chains to ensure safe transit and compliance with transportation regulations
- • Operate vac trucks and associated equipment to transfer drill water between job sites and the yard
- • Assist field drilling teams with pipe handling, mixing mud and grout, and performing basic rig tasks during geothermal installation operations
- • Perform warehouse duties including receiving incoming equipment, conducting inventory counts, staging materials for daily deployments, and maintaining organized storage areas
- • Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, sanitized, and properly organized to meet safety and operational standards
- • Follow all company safety protocols, quality control procedures, and OSHA-compliant practices during driving, loading, and on-site support activities
- • Support daily logistics by ensuring timely delivery of materials to job sites and returning empty or used equipment to the yard at the end of each shift
- • Participate in routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly
- • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory movements, and equipment usage as required by company procedures
- • Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow, while performing physical tasks that require consistent lifting and manual handling
- • Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday, including pipes, valves, tools, and drilling components
- • Collaborate with field technicians, logistics coordinators, and warehouse staff to ensure seamless daily operations across multiple job sites
- • Learn and adapt to new technical processes related to geothermal drilling systems and equipment handling as training and operational needs evolve
- • Represent Dandelion Energy professionally at client sites by adhering to conduct standards, maintaining vehicle appearance, and ensuring site cleanliness
- • Contribute to a mission-driven culture focused on accelerating the adoption of clean, efficient home heating and cooling through hands-on participation in sustainable energy infrastructure
🎯 Requirements
- • Valid CDL-A license with tanker endorsement and a safe driving record that meets company insurance requirements
- • Experience in securing and tying down heavy and complex loads using straps and chains
- • Comfort with hands-on, physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
- • Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and repeatedly
- • Personal vehicle and ability/willingness to drive to job sites within approximately 75 miles
- • Positive attitude and readiness to learn new technical skills
