- • Participate in a six-month accelerated leadership development program as a Senior Operations Management Trainee, traveling up to 90-100% of the time to learn operations across BioLife’s plasma centers nationwide.
- • Gain hands-on experience managing high-volume blood plasma collection facilities, including donor retention, production support, and operational oversight.
- • Develop and drive your own learning plan covering all aspects of center management, including compliance, staffing, and regulatory standards.
- • Build relationships with senior leaders and team members across BioLife locations to prepare for a Plasma Center Operations Manager role upon program completion.
- • Lead and manage teams of 20+ direct reports, providing performance feedback, conducting reviews, supporting professional development, and engaging in recruitment and retention efforts.
- • Maintain a positive donor experience by ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment for plasma donors.
- • Provide operational support to multiple centers, problem-solve in real-time, and communicate effectively with senior management.
- • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to support center operations and ensure continuous service.
- • Return home every other weekend during the training program while maintaining full-time travel commitments across the U.S.
- • Prepare for relocation to a permanent BioLife plasma center location upon successful completion of the training program and attainment of a Plasma Center Operations Manager position.
- • Perform physical tasks including walking/standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 5 lbs. regularly, occasional lifting up to 32 lbs., and rare lifting up to 50 lbs.
- • Maintain fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance while wearing gloves for 90% of work tasks due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- • Demonstrate ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees to perform essential job functions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports)
- • Willingness to travel up to 90-100% during the six-month training program
- • Relocation required upon completion of the training program
- • Valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program
- • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. regularly, occasionally up to 32 lbs., and rarely up to 50 lbs.
