- • The CFO Advisory - Executive Partner role at Gartner serves as a trusted advisor to Chief Financial Officers of Global 1000 organizations and government agencies, helping them align financial priorities with enterprise goals using Gartner’s full suite of insights, analysts, conferences, and peer communities.
- • Day to day, the Executive Partner provides executive advisory services through monthly or bi-weekly client engagements, synthesizes Gartner insights into customized value plans, hosts strategy sessions and peer roundtables, facilitates member collaboration via community portals, and supports the full client lifecycle from pre-sale to renewal.
- • Gartner is the world’s leading Business & Technology Insights organization with 20,000 associates globally, serving over 13,000 clients in ~90 countries, known for objective analysis, innovation in AI, and a culture of intellectual curiosity, inclusion, and high impact.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in advising CFOs on financial strategy, transformation, and AI-driven initiatives, build executive presence, strengthen client retention, contribute to account growth, and partner with analysts and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must be a current or former Corporate, BU, or Regional CFO at a large enterprise, with BU/Regional CFOs having responsibility for a unit of approximately $750M+
- • End-to-end ownership of the finance function including financial strategy, accounting, shared services, financial systems implementation, board reporting, regulatory compliance, and finance transformation projects (including AI-related)
- • Industry diversity and experience with Fortune 500 / Global FTSE 100/250 organizations is highly valued; prior consulting experience is a plus
- • University graduate (Master’s preferred)
- • Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and provide actionable, outcome-based business and technical advice to senior executives
- • Superior verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with strong executive presence and trust-building capabilities
