đź“‹ Description
- • As a Change Management Consultant (Contractor) at SunnyData Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the company approaches organizational change management (OCM) for technology-driven transformations, directly impacting client success in data platform and AI adoption initiatives.
- • You will bridge the gap between technical implementation and human adoption by ensuring that changes in data tools, analytics platforms, and enterprise systems are effectively communicated, understood, and embraced by end users across client organizations.
- • Deliver end-to-end OCM workstreams on active client engagements, including conducting change impact assessments, developing detailed stakeholder maps, creating targeted communication plans, designing training strategies, and facilitating go-live readiness activities to ensure smooth transitions.
- • Lead discovery and readiness workshops with client stakeholders—ranging from mid-level managers to senior executives—to evaluate organizational preparedness for adopting new data platforms, analytics tools, and AI-driven solutions.
- • Craft persona-based messaging that translates complex technical changes into clear, business-relevant language tailored to diverse audiences, enabling better understanding and buy-in across organizational levels.
- • Design and deliver engaging training and enablement programs for end users adopting new data tools and analytics platforms, using adult learning principles to maximize knowledge retention and skill application.
- • Coach and support client-side sponsors and managers in fulfilling their critical roles as change champions, helping them understand how to drive adoption, address resistance, and sustain momentum throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- • Define, track, and report on adoption metrics such as system usage, user proficiency, and behavioral change, providing actionable insights to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
- • Function as an embedded member of cross-functional delivery teams, collaborating closely with SunnyData engineers, architects, and project managers to align change activities with technical milestones and delivery timelines.
- • Develop reusable OCM assets including stakeholder map templates, communication toolkits, readiness checklists, training outlines, and change impact assessment frameworks to standardize and scale the company’s change management practice.
- • Help integrate lightweight, repeatable OCM activities into SunnyData’s standard delivery methodology so that every client engagement includes a baseline level of change coverage, reducing risk and improving outcomes.
- • Partner with Account Executives and Client Principals during sales cycles by providing OCM-focused qualifying questions, talking points, and insights to identify opportunities for change management services early in the engagement process.
- • Contribute OCM scoping, language, and value propositions to proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) under the guidance of delivery leadership, ensuring accurate effort estimation and clear client expectations.
- • Capture and document lessons learned from each engagement to continuously refine SunnyData’s OCM offerings, improve internal processes, and enhance the overall value proposition.
- • Educate delivery leads and project managers on how to recognize early signs of change-related risks—such as low user engagement, resistance, or poor communication—and when to escalate issues for proactive intervention.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-6 years of experience in organizational change management, with at least 2 years delivering OCM work in a consulting or professional services environment (not limited to internal corporate roles)
- • Proven experience executing change workstreams on technology implementations, including data platforms, analytics tools, or enterprise software systems
- • Demonstrated ability to independently build core OCM deliverables such as change strategies, communication plans, stakeholder analyses, and training materials with minimal supervision
- • Strong facilitation skills, including experience leading workshops and working sessions with mid-level and senior client stakeholders
- • Comfort working within technical delivery teams, able to quickly grasp enough context from engineers and architects to effectively perform change management duties without requiring constant translation
- • Excellent written communication skills, particularly the ability to produce clear, audience-appropriate materials quickly and effectively
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to work in an innovative environment with exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry leaders in data engineering and AI
- • Ability to make a tangible customer impact by helping businesses leverage data for strategic decision-making and organizational transformation
- • Access to career growth opportunities through professional development and advancement within a growing company
- • Part of a collaborative culture that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mutual support across delivery and practice-building activities
