- • Support the implementation, adoption, and stakeholder engagement for NIH’s unified data lakehouse initiative to enhance collaboration, analytics, decision-making, and AI readiness.
- • Synchronize technical and business requirements to ensure successful deployments, governance alignment, and operational readiness across NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices (ICO).
- • Conduct stakeholder sentiment assessments, identify organizational silos, and recommend actions to mitigate resistance and drive adoption.
- • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by designing and executing communication strategies that ensure transparency and alignment among technical and business teams.
- • Perform requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and business process analysis to translate customer needs into actionable solution requirements.
- • Coordinate project schedules, risks, issues, action items, and status reporting in alignment with program-level plans for ICO customers.
- • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, training materials, user guides, and communication artifacts to support change initiatives.
- • Support governance forums, intake processes, project charters, and decision packages in partnership with ICO Data Stewards.
- • Maintain project documentation repositories and SharePoint sites to ensure accessibility and compliance with organizational standards.
- • Facilitate meetings and manage multi-tasking across competing stakeholder priorities while delivering on project timelines and objectives.
- • Assist with user training, issue resolution, and adoption measurement activities to ensure sustained use of the data lakehouse platform.
- • Collaborate with technical teams to bridge business needs with technical implementation, ensuring solutions meet operational and governance requirements.
- • Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting lessons learned and contributing to sustainment planning for long-term success.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Visio, and Power BI to manage workflows, analyze processes, and deliver reporting.
- • Apply familiarity with Agile, SAFe, ITIL, and project delivery methodologies to guide implementation efforts and align with enterprise standards.
- • Engage in organizational change management activities to drive cultural and procedural adoption of the data lakehouse across NIH.
- • Ensure all activities comply with Public Trust requirements and support NIH’s modernization goals through structured, governance-aligned processes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or Public Administration plus 5+ years of related experience OR 9+ years of experience supporting business analysis, project coordination, implementation, organizational change management, or data management initiatives
- • Must be a US Person and able to obtain NACLC (T3) Public Trust clearance
- • 7+ years of related experience in change management, project delivery, or operational efficiency
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Visio, and Power BI
- • Experience with Agile, SAFe, ITIL, or similar project delivery methodologies
- • Knowledge of data governance, analytics, cloud platforms, or enterprise data management systems preferred
