• • You will define the long-term technical vision and architecture for BJAK's entire technology ecosystem. This includes overseeing the design and implementation of our core systems, infrastructure, and the developer platform, ensuring they are built for sustained growth and adaptability. A key aspect of this role involves meticulously evaluating the trade-offs between rapid iteration cycles and the strategic imperative of sound, long-term system design. Your decisions will directly influence our ability to innovate quickly while maintaining the integrity and robustness of our technological foundation.
• • A significant part of your responsibility will be to guide critical technical decisions across a spectrum of advanced areas. This includes the integration of sophisticated AI models, the development and optimization of complex data pipelines, the architecture of distributed systems capable of handling massive scale, and the overarching product architecture that underpins our user-facing applications. You will ensure that these technical domains are aligned with BJAK's strategic objectives and are executed with engineering excellence.
• • In terms of engineering leadership, you will collaborate closely with our talented engineers, translating high-level product direction into actionable technical execution plans. You will play a crucial role in structuring engineering workstreams, ensuring that teams are effectively organized and aligned with company priorities. Maintaining exceptionally high engineering standards will be paramount, balanced with a relentless focus on shipping impactful features and products efficiently.
• • You will be instrumental in cultivating and establishing a strong engineering culture across the organization. • • A core mandate of this role is to build and scale a world-class engineering team. You will be responsible for identifying key talent hubs, including strategically important locations like China and the US, and developing a robust plan for team expansion. This includes identifying exceptional technical leaders, mentoring them, and building a high-quality, high-performing engineering organization from the ground up.
• • You will define and refine our hiring standards and interview processes to ensure we consistently attract and recruit top-tier talent, maintaining a high engineering bar across all levels of the organization. Your ability to assess technical aptitude, cultural fit, and leadership potential will be critical in scaling our team effectively.
• • Close collaboration with product management, research teams, and senior leadership will be essential. You will ensure that technical workstreams are seamlessly integrated with business objectives and move forward smoothly across different teams and geographical locations.
