📋 Description

• As Chief Technology Officer at Everfield AG, you will be the visionary leader driving the technological evolution of ParkHere, a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company specializing in IoT-based parking solutions trusted by global enterprises like Microsoft, Telefónica, and Henkel. This role is pivotal in transforming product strategy into scalable, secure, and innovative software systems that power sustainable mobility across Europe.
• You will own the end-to-end technology lifecycle — from product discovery and prototyping to automated testing, deployment, and operations within an ISO 27001-certified environment — ensuring that engineering excellence directly translates into customer value and market differentiation.
• You will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and product leadership, aligning customer needs with emerging technological trends to define and execute a forward-looking technical roadmap that enables the team to deliver at speed and scale.
• You will lead the deep integration of AI tools and methodologies into daily workflows, not as a theoretical exercise but as a practical lever to dramatically boost development efficiency, product quality, and innovation velocity across the R&D organization.
• You will mentor and inspire a high-performing engineering culture rooted in excellence, ownership, and continuous innovation, fostering psychological safety and accountability while scaling teams of 5–10 direct reports in a hybrid or fully remote setup across Germany.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in agile software teams, ideally in scale-up or startup environments, with prior experience as CTO, Engineering Manager, Head of Software, or equivalent role managing 5–10 direct reports.
• Proven expertise in scaling SaaS products and navigating the dynamics of fast-growing software companies, including end-to-end ownership of technology strategy, architecture, and delivery.
• Hands-on proficiency with the company’s tech stack: Java/Kotlin backend, React/Expo/TypeScript frontend, Terraform/AWS infrastructure, and Python-based embedded IoT systems (MQTT, electronics, hardware).
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools and methods into development workflows to improve efficiency and product quality, treating AI as a practical engineering tool rather than a buzzword.
• Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills suited for executive-level engagement, characterized by clarity, openness, and appreciation.
• Proven track record of managing 7-figure budgets, with accountability for financial planning and resource allocation in technology initiatives.
