• • As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at TalentSafari SAS, you will be the visionary leader at the forefront of our technological innovation, shaping the future of HR and financial infrastructure for Africa’s informal and blue-collar workforce. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of scaling complex platforms, particularly within the fintech and regulated sectors. You will be instrumental in defining and executing our long-term technology strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our ambitious business objectives and the evolving regulatory landscape across Africa.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to architect and oversee the development of a robust, secure, and highly scalable platform that underpins our suite of products. This includes workforce management, payroll processing, seamless payments, and innovative financial services tailored for sectors like construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and other labor-intensive industries. You will ensure our technology stack is not only capable of supporting current operations but is also future-proofed to accommodate rapid growth and the introduction of new fintech products and strategic partnerships.
• • A critical aspect of this role involves leading and scaling our engineering teams. You will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, attracting top talent and implementing best practices in software development, agile methodologies, and performance management. Building and nurturing high-performing technical teams will be paramount to our success, ensuring they are equipped with the skills, tools, and processes to deliver exceptional results.
• • Security, reliability, and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable. You will establish and enforce stringent security protocols to protect sensitive user data and financial transactions. Ensuring the platform's uptime, performance, and adherence to all relevant financial regulations across various African markets will be a key performance indicator. This requires a proactive approach to risk management and a deep understanding of compliance frameworks within the fintech space.
• • You will be the ultimate decision-maker for architectural choices, focusing on scalability, seamless integration capabilities, and robust data infrastructure. This involves evaluating new technologies, designing for microservices or other scalable architectures, and ensuring our data strategy supports business intelligence, product development, and operational efficiency. Your decisions will directly impact our ability to onboard new clients, expand into new markets, and launch innovative features.
