- • **Lead the Technological Evolution of Value-Based Oncology Care:** Atlasonc Inc. is seeking a visionary and hands-on VP of Technology to spearhead the development and scaling of our innovative technology platform. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic leader who thrives in dynamic, ambiguous environments, excels at building robust structures from the ground up, and possesses the foresight to anticipate future technological needs, identify key vendor partnerships, and cultivate the necessary expertise to execute Atlasonc’s long-term technology strategy. You will be instrumental in shaping how oncologists deliver truly whole-person care, aligning incentives for better patient outcomes, reduced medical expenses for payors, and enhanced financial independence for provider partners.
- • **Drive Product Strategy and Strategic Roadmapping:** A core aspect of your role will involve deep dives into customer needs and emerging technology trends within the oncology and value-based care sectors. You will translate these insights into a comprehensive, long-term technology roadmap that aligns with Atlasonc’s core competencies and strategic objectives. This includes making critical build-versus-buy decisions, evaluating the competitive landscape of technology vendors and partners, and identifying strategic opportunities for integration or development. Staying ahead of the curve on AI advancements relevant to our business models will be key, enabling you to leverage AI as a significant strategic advantage.
- • **Oversee Daily Technology Operations and Infrastructure:** You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of Atlasonc’s technology stack. This involves managing the Director of IT and Information Security, supporting their efforts in technology evaluation and deployment, and stepping in as an individual contributor when necessary, particularly in the critical domains of data and data operations. You will be the primary point person for managing the day-to-day flow of technology challenges and opportunities, including IT outages, vendor management issues, security threats, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) downtime, working in tandem with the Director of IT and Information Security.
- • **Architect and Implement a Robust Data Strategy:** Understanding the critical role of data in value-based care, you will define the necessary data feeds and inputs required to power an intelligent, data-driven operation. This includes the hands-on capability to code and deploy data pipelines (ETL, ELT, etc.) as needed. Furthermore, you will act as an interim database administrator when required and will be responsible for architecting a long-term data warehouse and reporting infrastructure designed to support corporate outcome measures and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
- • **Champion the Technology Vision Internally and Externally:** A significant part of this role involves acting as a technology evangelist. You will co-develop and articulate the long-term technology vision to internal stakeholders, including the board, corporate leadership, and the sales team, ensuring alignment and buy-in. Equally important is your ability to engage with high-profile clinical partners, effectively selling the Atlasonc technology vision, addressing their concerns, and proactively managing any technical issues that may arise from their integration with our platform. Your communication skills will be paramount in building trust and demonstrating the value of our technological approach.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or business field.
- • 5-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, data management, product leadership, or a related technology leadership role.
- • Demonstrated competency as a data engineer and/or data warehouse administrator, with a proven history of successful healthcare deployments.
- • Strong experience in product strategy development, including build-versus-buy analysis and user needs research.
- • Proven ability to manage and contract with key technology vendors, ensuring optimal performance and value.
- • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- • Proficiency in performing data analyses using tools like Excel, and summarizing findings into executive-friendly presentations (e.g., PowerPoint), including performance dashboards.
- • Ability to think critically, translate complex ideas into actionable plans, and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
