- • Own the enterprise-level relationship for major chemical industry clients, serving as the primary executive point of contact and trusted advisor.
- • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans with clear revenue growth targets, service expansion goals, and client retention strategies.
- • Lead and coordinate a cross-functional Client Solutions Team across engineering, permitting, remediation, monitoring, and advisory services to ensure consistent delivery and accountability.
- • Align Onterris’s full environmental platform—including monitoring, measurement, permitting, and engineering services—to the client’s operational, regulatory, and sustainability priorities.
- • Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities by analyzing client assets, regulatory environments, and long-term business objectives.
- • Maintain disciplined use of Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date account plans, pipeline data, bookings, contacts, and action items.
- • Build and track a 3×–5× unweighted and 1.25× weighted sales pipeline aligned to year-over-year growth objectives.
- • Establish and lead monthly Key Client Cadence Calls to review financial performance, action items, and progress toward strategic goals.
- • Conduct at least one executive-level client check-in per quarter with key stakeholders and market sector leaders.
- • Serve as the internal advocate for the client, translating client needs into actionable direction for technical teams and leadership.
- • Monitor account portfolio health including schedule, budget, quality, and risk; intervene when performance or relationships drift and escalate issues to executive leadership.
- • Partner with marketing and pursuit teams on major client opportunities and proposals.
- • Represent Onterris as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance market visibility and positioning.
- • Create comprehensive Key Client Plans that include client intelligence, historical performance, short-/medium-/long-term goals, relationship mapping, and detailed action plans.
- • Drive continuous improvement by using client insights to shape internal practices, pricing, messaging, and service delivery across geographies and service lines.
- • Mentor and provide guidance to Account Managers responsible for key accounts within the chemical sector portfolio.
- • Collaborate with Market Sector Leaders and fellow Account Managers to support sector-wide initiatives and align client strategies with broader business goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years in sales, account management, or business development (technical or environmental services preferred)
- • Demonstrated success managing and growing large, complex accounts ($5M–$20M+)
- • Strong ability to translate technical environmental solutions into commercial value
- • Deep experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and data-driven sales management
- • Proven capability in strategic thinking, executive communication, influence, and cross-functional leadership
- • Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into actionable insight
