📋 Description

• As Chief Compliance Officer at Wincent Software, you will lead the compliance function group-wide in a high-growth fintech environment, ensuring the firm meets regulatory obligations while supporting its ambition to become a top global crypto trading entity.
• You will design, operate, and document the compliance framework, manage regulatory interactions, oversee AML/CTF controls, and lead a compliance team through hands-on leadership and strategic execution.
• Wincent is a team of 150+ engineers, traders, and quants based in Bratislava, focused on high-frequency trading with ~1% of global crypto volume, operating with radical transparency, VC-free independence, and a culture rooted in integrity and ownership.
• In this role, you will strengthen compliance infrastructure, mentor your team, influence business decisions with practical risk guidance, and help shape a market-leading, ethical trading operation in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of compliance experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing a team
• Experience managing multi-jurisdiction trading and AML/CTF frameworks, including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting
• Experience working in senior roles in regulated financial institutions
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving fintech or crypto environment
• Experience designing and implementing scalable compliance frameworks
