This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a purpose-driven organization dedicated to making a tangible difference in patient care and outcomes across the nation. You will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Board of Directors, and serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership. Your mission will be to develop, implement, and meticulously oversee a comprehensive compliance and ethics program that not only upholds the company's mission and protects its esteemed reputation but also ensures unwavering adherence to all pertinent laws, regulations, and the highest ethical standards. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to contribute to a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency that permeates every level of the enterprise, ultimately impacting the health and well-being of millions of patients.
  • • **Strategic Compliance Leadership:** You will act as the primary compliance advisor, providing expert guidance to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and the Audit & Compliance Committee. Your role involves developing and championing a holistic compliance and ethics strategy that is intrinsically aligned with the company's overarching business objectives, while simultaneously guaranteeing regulatory adherence and ethical integrity. A critical aspect of this leadership will be to proactively anticipate and address potential regulatory risks and emerging compliance trends across the complex landscapes of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, and data operations. Your foresight and strategic thinking will be instrumental in navigating these evolving challenges.
  • • **Compliance Program Development & Oversight:** You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and ongoing management of a robust compliance and ethics program. This includes the creation and maintenance of comprehensive policies and procedures, the development and delivery of effective training initiatives, and the establishment of rigorous auditing and monitoring activities. Your diligent oversight will ensure strict adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, FDA regulations, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and other relevant healthcare and data privacy laws. You will champion best practices in compliance, ensuring that PatientPoint operates with the highest degree of ethical conduct and legal compliance.
  • • **Risk Management & Mitigation:** A core function of your role will be to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance-related risks across the organization. This involves conducting thorough risk assessments, developing strategies to address identified vulnerabilities, and implementing controls to prevent and detect non-compliance. You will work collaboratively with various departments to embed a risk-aware culture, ensuring that compliance considerations are integrated into business decision-making processes from the outset.
  • • **Investigations & Remediation:** You will lead and oversee internal investigations into alleged violations of the company's code of conduct, policies, or applicable laws and regulations. This includes ensuring that investigations are conducted promptly, thoroughly, and impartially, and that appropriate remedial actions are taken to address any findings and prevent recurrence. Your ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism will be paramount.
  • • **Training & Education:** You will develop and implement comprehensive compliance training programs for all employees, tailored to their roles and responsibilities. This includes onboarding training for new hires and ongoing education to keep staff informed about relevant legal and ethical requirements, company policies, and best practices. Fostering a culture of ethical awareness and compliance through effective education is a key objective.
  • • **Policy Development & Enforcement:** You will be responsible for the creation, review, and updating of all compliance-related policies and procedures. This ensures that the company's internal guidelines are current, comprehensive, and effectively communicate expectations for ethical conduct and legal adherence. You will also play a key role in ensuring the consistent and fair enforcement of these policies across the organization.
  • • **Stakeholder Engagement:** You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, legal counsel, and department heads, as well as external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal counsel. Effective communication and collaboration are essential to the success of the compliance program.
  • • **Reporting & Communication:** You will provide regular reports to the Board of Directors, the Audit & Compliance Committee, and executive leadership on the status of the compliance program, identified risks, investigation outcomes, and recommended actions. Clear, concise, and timely communication is vital for informed decision-making.
  • • **Continuous Improvement:** You will continuously monitor the effectiveness of the compliance program, seeking opportunities for improvement and adaptation in response to changes in the regulatory environment, business operations, and organizational needs. Your commitment to excellence will drive the evolution of PatientPoint's compliance framework.
