📋 Description

• Serve as Chief Financial Officer for a growing veterinary clinics network operating in Ukraine and Poland, with plans for international expansion into new countries.
• Develop and execute the group’s financial strategy aligned with the expansion roadmap, ensuring sustainable growth and capital efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, capital structure, and investment activities across all clinic locations, coordinating with banks, investors, and financial partners.
• Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and analytical reports to support leadership decision-making and strategic planning.
• Build and oversee the group’s annual budget, including individual P&L plans for each clinic, and monitor execution monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Analyze budget variances across clinics and regions, delivering actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement a unified financial control system with standardized policies and procedures across all locations.
• Ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial and accounting reporting to internal stakeholders, external auditors, legal advisors, and financial institutions.
• Lead the automation and digitalization of financial operations by developing an in-house veterinary EHR/CRM system based on Creatio and integrating local ERP systems across countries.
• Collaborate directly with the CIO to build a unified management accounting system that enhances data accessibility and business transparency.
• Build, lead, and grow a professional finance team encompassing accounting, controlling, and FP&A functions across multiple countries.
• Foster a partnership-based finance function that provides proactive support to clinic operations managers and business leaders in Ukraine and Poland.
• Establish strong relationships with external auditors, legal firms, and banking institutions to ensure compliance and secure funding.
• Optimize financial and operational processes to improve clinic profitability and network-wide efficiency.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of integrated reporting systems, CRM/EHR, and ERP platforms to standardize financial workflows.
• Maintain active oversight of funding sources, including negotiations and relationships with banks and investors to support expansion.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations in Ukraine and Poland while preparing systems for future international markets.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Managing Partner and leadership team, providing data-driven insights to guide business decisions.
• Promote a culture of accountability, structured processes, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.
• Maintain high standards of financial integrity, transparency, and responsiveness across all clinic operations.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in senior financial leadership roles (CFO, Head of Finance)
• Experience in international business, ideally spanning Ukraine and EU countries
• Proven track record in finance process automation and CRM/ERP/BI system integration
• Strong proficiency in English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting, financial planning, and operational process optimization
• Demonstrated ability to build financial systems and teams from scratch and scale them across regions
