📋 Description

• As Chief of Staff at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for building and running the operational infrastructure behind A1, a proactive AI smart assistant designed to bring intelligence to everyday conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows with minimal prompting. This role is critical to enabling the company’s scalable execution across markets by ensuring operational reliability, process efficiency, and cross-functional coordination.
• Day to day, you will lead business operations across multiple countries, manage and develop a team of Business Operations Partners, oversee office setup and entity incorporation, manage payroll implementation and local operational requirements, coordinate with external vendors and service providers, support recruiting operations and hiring activities, plan and execute company events and offsites, track key initiatives for timely completion, and continuously improve processes to increase speed and reliability.
• The team operates with high talent density, high ownership, and high standards, valuing independent thinking, rapid execution, and problem-solving without waiting for instructions. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams in recruiting, finance, legal, and administrative functions to drive operational excellence.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in scaling operations across international markets, strengthen your ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects, and gain end-to-end ownership of business infrastructure—from entity setup to team development and process optimization—positioning you as a strategic operational leader in a high-growth, AI-driven environment.
