Human Agency, Inc. is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to serve as the indispensable right hand to an executive leader, driving success across all facets of our business.
• This is not your typical Chief of Staff role. At Human Agency, we believe in a "floor to ceiling" mentality, where every team member, including leadership, is willing to tackle any task, from the most strategic initiatives to the most fundamental operations. You will be the prototype for the exceptional talent we hire – someone who aspires to run a company and is choosing to accelerate that journey by riding shotgun with an executive, gaining unparalleled exposure and experience.
• You will be empowered to own and solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems that transcend traditional departmental boundaries. Your ability to navigate complexity and deliver solutions will be paramount. This role demands a proactive, self-starting individual who requires no hand-holding, coaching, or constant check-ins. You are expected to manage yourself entirely, demonstrating autonomy and a relentless drive for results.
• Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum, requiring you to seamlessly transition between high-level strategic work and granular execution. This includes preparing board materials, developing investor presentations, and driving business development initiatives, as well as handling essential ground-level tasks such as intricate scheduling, in-depth research, and resolving urgent client issues ("client fires"). Your adaptability and willingness to engage in any task are critical to your success.
• A core component of this role is the daily deployment of AI tools to amplify your output. We expect you to leverage AI as a powerful force multiplier, enabling you to achieve the output of five individuals. This AI-first mindset is not optional; it's fundamental to how we operate and how you will succeed.
• You will be tasked with proactively identifying opportunities, inefficiencies, and potential threats before they are brought to your attention. Your keen observational skills and strategic foresight will be invaluable in anticipating challenges and capitalizing on emerging trends.

• Your role will involve managing key internal projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven builder mentality with demonstrable experience shipping projects, ideally leveraging AI (proof required).
• Generalist with a wide range of skills and the ability to be effective across many domains, not necessarily an expert in one.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong commitment to ethical practices and responsible AI.
• Ability to travel occasionally (10–30%) for client activities and events, with a preference for candidates in major tech hubs.
