• As we embark on a significant global expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to spearhead the establishment and rapid growth of our new entity in Germany. This pivotal role is designed for a visionary leader who will be instrumental in building Dandy Germany from its inception. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth, localized market analysis, meticulously setting up our operational infrastructure within Germany, and crafting a robust business strategy to ensure a successful market entry and foster sustainable, long-term growth.
• Your primary responsibility will be to architect and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy tailored specifically for the German market. This involves identifying key opportunities, understanding competitive landscapes, and defining Dandy's unique value proposition for German dental practices. You will be the driving force behind building and nurturing our initial customer base, establishing strong relationships with early adopters, and gathering crucial feedback to refine our offerings.
• A core component of this role is the development and diligent management of the Germany business plan. This includes defining realistic yet ambitious revenue targets, establishing key operational performance indicators (KPIs), and meticulously managing the budget to ensure financial prudence and strategic allocation of resources. You will be accountable for the financial health and growth trajectory of Dandy Germany.
• To achieve market penetration and widespread adoption, you will create and implement localized marketing and sales strategies. This requires a deep understanding of German business culture, consumer behavior, and effective communication channels. You will adapt our global strategies to resonate with the local audience, driving demand and building brand awareness.
• Regular and transparent reporting on market performance, emerging opportunities, and potential challenges to the global leadership team is essential. You will provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to inform company-wide decisions.
• Establishing and cultivating key business relationships with a diverse range of partners, clients, and stakeholders within the German market will be critical. This includes forging alliances with industry associations, key opinion leaders, and potential channel partners to accelerate our growth.
• You will act as the primary representative of Dandy Technology to German government officials, influential industry associations, and broader business networks. This involves advocating for our mission and building Dandy's reputation as a trusted innovator.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all German federal and provincial regulations is paramount. You will work closely with our Legal team to navigate the regulatory landscape, ensuring all operations adhere to local laws and standards.
• Finally, you will be expected to undertake ad hoc responsibilities as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to successfully establish and scale Dandy Germany.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive management experience, with a strong emphasis on leadership and strategic oversight.
• Proven track record of successfully launching or scaling operations in a new market, demonstrating an ability to build from the ground up.
• Deep understanding of the German business environment, market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and cultural nuances.
• Professional fluency in German, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, take initiative, and drive results in ambiguous environments.
• Experience in business development, sales leadership, and P&L management, with a focus on achieving revenue targets and managing financial performance.
