- • Serve as the CEO’s primary thought partner, providing strategic input and operational support across all company priorities and decision-making processes.
- • Drive strategic projects end-to-end by scoping objectives, defining success metrics, and delivering measurable outcomes in high-priority business areas.
- • Hold senior executives accountable for execution on critical initiatives, maintaining consistent follow-up and alignment on leadership action items.
- • Act as a cross-functional force multiplier by collaborating with teams across engineering, product, sales, operations, and finance to accelerate progress and remove bottlenecks.
- • Manage confidential executive communications, including sensitive internal discussions, investor updates, and strategic correspondence with partners and customers.
- • Operate with full access to leadership deliberations, contributing to high-stakes decisions and translating strategic intent into actionable plans.
- • Leverage data-driven analysis to inform recommendations, using Excel and other tools to interpret metrics and track performance across key initiatives.
- • Communicate with clarity and precision through written updates, reports, and presentations, ensuring alignment and transparency across the organization.
- • Operate autonomously in ambiguous environments, identifying priorities, setting agendas, and delivering results without direct oversight.
- • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, empathy, and discretion when handling executive-level matters and sensitive information.
- • Work in-office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Manhattan headquarters, supporting a hybrid work model.
- • Take ownership of responsibilities beyond typical tenure, with immediate access to leadership, stakeholders, and strategic initiatives from day one.
- • Align personal success with the success of cross-functional teams, viewing collective outcomes as the primary measure of impact.
- • Contribute to the scaling of PermitFlow’s AI infrastructure supporting construction permitting, licensing, inspections, and project closeouts across the U.S.
- • Support the company’s mission to accelerate housing, clean-energy, and infrastructure development by enabling builders to reduce compliance time and de-risk projects.
- • Engage with top-tier investors, including Accel, Kleiner Perkins, Initialized, Y Combinator, Felicis, and Altos Ventures, as well as industry leaders from OpenAI, Google, Procore, and Zillow.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of aggregate experience across top-tier management consulting or financial services (private equity, investment banking, or venture capital)
- • Proven experience in strategy and operations at a high-growth startup
- • Demonstrated track record of operational strategy development and execution in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- • Exceptional written communication skills with ability to convey complex analysis concisely
- • Willingness to work in-office in Manhattan on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
