• • As a Fractional Chief of Staff at Parallel Bio, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of accountability and execution within a fast-paced, venture-backed biotechnology company. Your primary mission will be to translate strategic vision into tangible results, ensuring that the company's ambitious goals are met with precision and efficiency.
• • You will serve as the critical connective tissue across the leadership team and various departments, bridging the gap between strategic decision-making and on-the-ground execution. This role demands a proactive and highly organized individual who can establish and manage the organizational rhythm, ensuring that initiatives are not only planned but also consistently delivered upon.
• • A core responsibility will be to design and implement robust accountability systems, leveraging tools like Asana, Notion, and Slack to their fullest potential. This includes defining clear ownership, scope, and timelines for all projects and initiatives, and maintaining a high level of visibility into progress and potential roadblocks.
• • You will be tasked with building and refining the cadence of key organizational meetings, including leadership discussions, project sprints, and progress reviews. The goal is to ensure these forums are productive, outcome-oriented, and contribute directly to the company's forward momentum.
• • A significant part of your role will involve fostering cross-functional coordination. You will partner closely with leadership to break down company-wide objectives into actionable project plans, meticulously tracking dependencies and ensuring seamless collaboration between Science, Technology, Operations, and Executive teams.
• • You will be the go-to person for centralizing critical information, ensuring that decisions, documentation, and updates are consistently managed within Notion, and that communication flows efficiently and effectively through Slack, minimizing noise and maximizing clarity.
• • Your expertise in operational systems will be crucial in auditing and optimizing the current tool stack (Asana, Notion, Slack) to ensure they function harmoniously and support the company's scaling needs. This includes developing insightful dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics and progress across all major company initiatives.
• • You will also play a vital role in implementing streamlined workflows designed to enhance information flow between different functions, thereby reducing operational friction and improving overall efficiency.
• • In addition to operational management, you will provide strategic support to the founders, assisting with prioritization, long-term planning, and maintaining organizational focus amidst rapid growth.
• • You will be expected to coordinate and drive high-priority, cross-functional special projects from inception to completion, demonstrating end-to-end ownership and a commitment to achieving measurable outcomes.
