Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the CEO’s strategic and execution partner—owning high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from idea to fully operational outcome; you will act as a “mini-CEO” who scopes, plans, drives, and hands off initiatives so the CEO can stay focused on the highest-leverage strategic work.
- • Build and run the AI strategy for both clinical and operational workflows: identify high-impact use cases (scheduling, documentation, RCM, QA, training), run feasibility studies, design pilots, negotiate with vendors, establish KPIs, and lead full roll-outs that demonstrably improve quality, speed, and clinician experience.
- • Own the corporate development funnel end-to-end: source and track acquisition targets, maintain a live pipeline with clear prioritization logic, coordinate diligence across clinical, ops, finance, legal, HR, and RCM, build integration roadmaps, and support post-close execution to realize projected synergies.
- • Evaluate and launch new markets using rigorous frameworks that weigh payer landscape, labor availability, competition, regulatory complexity, and site economics; drive licensing, credentialing, payer enrollment, hiring plans, site readiness, and early-stage performance monitoring to ensure rapid but compliant expansion.
- • Lead strategic procurement and vendor management on behalf of the CEO: run competitive processes for AI partners, consultants, insurance brokers, legal counsel, and IT vendors; negotiate contracts, maintain a renewal calendar, and hold vendors accountable for cost, quality, and performance without disrupting care delivery.
- • Provide the analytical horsepower behind every major decision—build dynamic financial models for capacity utilization, churn, market ROI, deal profitability, and AI scaling costs; create decision-grade business cases with upside/downside scenarios and sensitivity analysis that the CEO and board can trust.
- • Run the CEO’s operating cadence: craft agendas, prepare materials, track actions, and ensure follow-through across leadership meetings, board updates, and all-company communications; serve as the connective tissue that surfaces misalignment early and resolves it quickly.
- • Step in as “owner of last resort” on stalled or ambiguous projects—examples include EMR/Salesforce integrations, performance improvement programs, or new clinical tooling—by mapping stakeholders, designing SOPs, and transitioning stable processes to the right functional owner.
- • Develop and maintain a single source of truth for performance insights: recurring dashboards, variance explanations, forward forecasts, and scenario-planning tools that guide scaling decisions on hiring pace, geographic sequencing, and margin protection.
- • Package investor and board reporting into a crisp narrative—what changed, why it matters, and what ANNA is doing next—while ensuring post-implementation value tracking for every AI rollout, market launch, or acquisition.
- • Travel selectively (10-15 %) for key leadership meetings, site visits, and local market launches, but operate primarily remote with a high degree of autonomy and trust.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–10 years in Chief of Staff, BizOps, corporate development, top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or senior operating roles—healthcare services or multi-site regulated environments strongly preferred.
- • Demonstrated record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation through stable hand-off, with measurable impact on quality, speed, or financial performance.
- • Financial fluency: expert-level Excel modeling, KPI design, diligence analysis, and board-quality investor materials; comfortable building ROI, IRR, and sensitivity models.
- • Experience sourcing, piloting, and scaling AI or technology-enabled workflow improvements in operations or clinical settings; familiarity with EMR, RCM, and Salesforce stacks a plus.
- • Executive-level communication skills—clear, concise writing and calm, credible presence across clinical, operations, finance, and investor audiences.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and meaningful equity in a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
- • 100 % employer-paid health insurance and 401(k) match to support long-term financial wellness.
- • Unlimited PTO with a culture that encourages real rest and recharge.
- • High-impact seat with daily exposure to strategy, AI product development, finance, M&A, and market expansion—ideal preparation for future founder or COO roles.
