- • Join Oceansxyz as our Chief of Staff to the Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our talent acquisition strategy and operations. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategic planning, operational excellence, and people leadership within a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. You will be instrumental in driving key initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring the TA function operates with maximum efficiency and effectiveness, directly contributing to Oceansxyz's mission of delivering real opportunities and real impact.
- • As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Head of TA, acting as a force multiplier to amplify their impact and drive critical projects forward. Your responsibilities will span a wide range, from developing and executing strategic plans to managing complex cross-functional projects and ensuring seamless communication across the TA team and with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing data-driven insights, and implementing solutions that enhance our ability to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve driving operational excellence within the TA function. This includes streamlining existing processes, implementing new technologies and tools, and establishing best practices that align with Oceansxyz's growth objectives. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track the effectiveness of our TA efforts, providing actionable insights to the Head of TA and leadership team. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends, anticipating challenges, and proactively recommending solutions to optimize our recruitment funnel and candidate experience.
- • You will also be a key player in managing and executing strategic projects. This could involve anything from designing and launching new recruitment programs, to overseeing the implementation of new ATS functionalities, to leading initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion within our hiring practices. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including HR, Legal, Finance, and hiring managers across different departments, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects from conception to completion will be essential.
- • Communication and stakeholder management will be central to your success. You will be responsible for preparing executive-level reports and presentations, facilitating key meetings, and ensuring that information flows effectively between the TA team, leadership, and other relevant parties. Building strong relationships across the organization will be paramount, enabling you to influence effectively and gain buy-in for TA initiatives. You will act as a conduit for information, ensuring that the TA strategy is well-understood and effectively executed throughout the company.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and growth of the TA team itself. This may involve supporting the Head of TA in talent management initiatives, identifying training and development needs, and helping to foster a high-performance culture. 🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, strategic operations, or similar high-impact role, preferably within a fast-paced Talent Acquisition or HR environment.
- • Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and developing data-driven recommendations.
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach, capable of navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives forward.
- • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems, and experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
