  • • As a Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits at Allstate, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals navigating the aftermath of accidents by interpreting policy coverage, assessing injury claims, and ensuring fair and timely settlements in alignment with legislative and company standards. Your work directly impacts customer well-being and upholds Allstate’s ā€˜You’re in Good Hands®’ promise through expert, compassionate claims handling.
  • • Day to day, you will interpret insurance policy wordings to determine applicable coverages and set appropriate reserves on assigned Accident Benefit claims; investigate, negotiate, and settle moderate to high complexity first-party injury claims via telephone, in-person interactions, and written correspondence; ensure all claim files are thoroughly documented in compliance with Allstate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; communicate professionally with claimants, medical providers, legal representatives, and vendors to gather information and resolve claims efficiently; collaborate with a team of Accident Benefit Adjusters and Claims Assistants to maintain a caseload consistent with a Senior Claim Advisor level; and exercise ownership in resolving customer problems while adhering to settlement authority guidelines and escalating complex cases as needed.
  • • You will join a growing, supportive team within Allstate’s Alberta casualty claims division, reporting to the Manager of Casualty Claims AB, where collaboration, continuous learning, and a customer-centric mindset are valued.   • • Minimum post-secondary education is required
  • • 1-2 years of relevant Accident Benefits claims experience
  • • Completion of CIP designation or demonstrated interest in pursuing it
  • • Prior insurance experience with knowledge of injury claims, medical rehabilitation, and medical terminology (preferred)
  • • Strong time management, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a focus on outstanding customer service
  • • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
