- • The Claims Administrative Assistant supports Claims Adjusters in processing transportation-related incidents such as bus accidents, student injuries, and property damage, playing a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely claims handling for First Student’s student transportation operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and organizing documentation (driver/police reports, medical records, driver logs), managing electronic claim files, routing calls and emails, preparing claim-related communications, and maintaining compliance with transportation safety regulations.

🎯 Requirements
- • Previously Auto Claims experience is required
- • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or higher preferred)
- • 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in insurance, logistics, or claims support
- • Familiarity with legal and transportation terminology/documents is a plus
- • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- • Experience with claims management software (a plus, but not required)
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
