- • The Claims Consultant serves as a trusted advocate for brokerage clients throughout the insurance claims lifecycle, acting as the primary claims advisor to ensure fair, efficient, and coverage-aligned outcomes.
- • Day to day, the role involves acting as the primary claims liaison for assigned clients across multiple lines of coverage, providing strategic guidance on claim reporting and settlement strategy, advocating for clients in complex or disputed claims, analyzing claim trends and loss drivers, conducting stewardship meetings with carriers and TPAs, preparing claims reports and dashboards, and educating clients on claims processes and coverage considerations.

- • In this role, the person can develop deep expertise in complex claims management, strengthen negotiation and analytical skills, influence client risk strategies, and advance their career through industry-recognized designations and high-stakes client advisory work.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- • 5+ years of experience in claims management, brokerage claims consulting, carrier claims, TPA, or related roles
- • Experience handling complex or large‑loss claims strongly preferred
- • Deep understanding of insurance policy language and claims processes
- • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present confidently to senior client stakeholders
- • Adjuster license (as applicable)
- • Industry designations such as CPCU, ARM, AIC, SCLA, or similar
