- • As a Claims Examiner - Liability at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in adjudicating complex general liability claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions for clients across diverse industries while upholding the company’s commitment to empathy, accountability, and excellence in service.
- • You will analyze and process technically difficult liability claims by investigating facts, gathering documentation, assessing exposure, and determining appropriate benefits due, all while managing claims through structured action plans to achieve timely and equitable resolutions.
- • Your responsibilities include negotiating settlements within your designated authority, calculating and assigning accurate reserves, monitoring reserve adequacy throughout the claim lifecycle, and identifying opportunities for subrogation to protect client interests.
- • You will support Sedgwick’s quality programs by adhering to industry best practices, client-specific requirements, and service expectations, ensuring compliance and consistency in claims handling across high-exposure and litigated cases.
- • Operating with flexibility and autonomy in a telecommuter role based in Los Angeles, you will leverage Sedgwick’s global network of experts to collaborate, learn, and share insights while enjoying professional development opportunities that support long-term career growth.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- • Five (5) years of liability claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- • Must reside in Los Angeles, California, as this is a telecommuter position with geographic restrictions.
