This remote position, exclusively for residents of Mexico, places you at the forefront of our customer service operations, serving as the crucial first point of contact for individuals navigating the often-complex world of insurance claims.
- • As a Claims Reporting Representative, you will be the empathetic and knowledgeable voice that guides our customers through the initial stages of reporting a loss. Your primary responsibility will be to establish a strong connection with callers, meticulously gathering and capturing essential information to accurately file a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claim. This foundational step is critical to ensuring a smooth and efficient claims process for our policyholders.
- • You will be tasked with providing callers with a clear and concise overview of the basic claims process, offering general information that helps demystify the next steps. This involves managing incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence with professionalism and efficiency, screening each interaction to understand the caller's needs and the nature of their inquiry.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve proactive communication, either initiating contact or responding to customers and other third parties involved in a claim. The goal is to obtain and provide necessary file information, ensuring strict adherence to established quality and process standards. This requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation for each claim report or inquiry, following all established guidelines.
- • Beyond initial reporting, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with practical arrangements. This includes helping them schedule necessary appointments, such as auto and/or property inspections, and facilitating the arrangement of rental cars when required, thereby alleviating immediate logistical burdens for our policyholders.
- • Throughout every interaction, maintaining a high level of empathy and engagement is paramount. You will be expected to connect with customers on a human level, understanding their situation and providing reassurance and support during what can be a stressful time. Your ability to listen actively and respond with compassion will be a hallmark of your success in this role.
- • Leveraging online resources, system-generated prompts, and your growing knowledge of claims procedures, you will effectively assist customers and clearly set expectations regarding the subsequent steps in resolving their claim. This involves navigating internal systems and information databases to provide accurate guidance and manage customer expectations effectively.
- • This role is more than just processing information; it's about building trust and providing a seamless experience from the very first contact. You will contribute directly to Integon's reputation for excellent customer service and its standing as a Great Place To Work, a certification held since 2019.
