- • As a ClassDojo Implementation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach and impact of the #1 K-12 communication app used in over 95% of U.S. schools and by more than 45 million children across 180 countries, directly supporting the company’s mission to give every child an education they love by empowering educators with tools that strengthen classroom and school communities.
- • You will join a highly talented, globally distributed team of educators and technologists from top-tier companies like Instagram, Netflix, Dropbox, Stripe, Uber, and Y Combinator, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence in education technology where your work will help pioneer the future of learning experiences beyond traditional schooling.
- • Become a deep expert on ClassDojo’s flagship app and implementation best practices, mastering its features and educational applications so you can confidently guide schools in adopting and optimizing the platform for their unique contexts.
- • Lead live virtual demonstrations and discovery calls for prospective and new school clients, translating ClassDojo’s capabilities into meaningful solutions that align with each school’s goals for communication, family engagement, and student learning sharing.
- • Design and facilitate engaging, interactive, and inspirational virtual professional development (PD) sessions for teachers, school leaders, and families, ensuring content is clear, relatable, and responsive to diverse audiences while modeling effective facilitation techniques.
- • Provide personalized training and ongoing support to school administrators and instructional leaders, tailoring guidance to help them successfully integrate ClassDojo into schoolwide systems and sustain usage over time.
- • Systematically gather and analyze feedback from PD participants, using insights to rapidly iterate and improve session content, delivery methods, and resources to enhance effectiveness and user satisfaction.
- • Collaborate closely with a small, agile team of Implementation Specialists, actively sharing knowledge, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and co-creating better PD materials and facilitation strategies to continuously elevate the quality of implementation support.
- • Contribute to ClassDojo’s back-to-school growth initiative by helping onboard thousands of new schools, ensuring they achieve successful, sustainable adoption that drives real impact in classroom communities worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5+ years of highly effective teaching and/or administrative experience in K-12 education, with demonstrated expertise in classroom management, family engagement, and participation in or leadership of schoolwide systems.
- • Proven proficiency in using ClassDojo in an actual school or classroom setting, with the ability to speak authentically about its practical application, benefits, and challenges from firsthand experience.
- • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including experience delivering professional development sessions to educators that are engaging, clear, interactive, and responsive to adult learning principles.
- • Excellent written communication skills, capable of adapting tone and style for different audiences (teachers, principals, parents) while producing clear, detailed, and actionable guidance documents or resources.
- • High degree of personal accountability, ownership, and follow-through, with a track record of reliably meeting commitments and taking initiative to improve outcomes.
- • Access to a suitable remote workspace with strong, reliable WiFi connectivity to support live video sessions, webinars, and virtual PD delivery without technical disruption.
