  • • Serve as a point of contact for clients in conjunction with Client Managers and provide administrative assistance to support business retention and client satisfaction.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to client questions, facilitating resolutions to concerns, running client-specific reports, and supporting Client Managers with administrative tasks.
  • • May involve client-facing duties such as preparing and delivering employee meeting presentations, participating in benefit fairs, and attending quarterly and renewal meetings with client managers.
  • • Work within Luminare Health, a purpose-driven organization under Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), which invests in employee development and fosters rewarding careers through curated growth plans.
  • • Opportunity to develop expertise in employee benefit plans, federal regulations (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA), and self-funded health plans while building strong client relationships and administrative proficiency.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a Third-Party Administrator or health insurance environment
  • • Client-facing, outside vendor, and member-facing experience
  • • Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA, etc.)
  • • Thorough understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans
  • • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational skills
  • • Analytical, problem-solving, reading comprehension, creative decision-making, mathematical ability, and time management skills
  • • Ability to travel as required (10%-20%)
