- • As a Client Director specializing in the Manufacturing sector for Gem.com, Inc., you will be at the forefront of driving growth and innovation within our Salesforce practice. This role is specifically designed for a seasoned and high-performing sales professional with a proven track record in the Salesforce ecosystem, eager to deepen their industry expertise and take significant ownership of client relationships and revenue generation. You will operate as a key player in our evolving selling motion, focusing on the unique needs and opportunities within the manufacturing industry.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end sales cycle for Gem.com's comprehensive suite of Salesforce multi-cloud and managed services offerings. This includes identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, consistently meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets. You will be instrumental in expanding our footprint within the manufacturing sector, a critical growth area for our company.
- • You will own and cultivate a defined set of accounts, working collaboratively with Senior Client Directors and other internal stakeholders. This involves developing and executing strategic account plans that align with client objectives and Gem.com's service capabilities. Your ability to foster strong, long-term relationships with key buyer and influencer stakeholders will be paramount to success.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves acting as a proactive lead-generation engine. You will leverage our strong partnership with Salesforce, engage in targeted outbound prospecting, and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts. This requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and its application within the manufacturing industry.
- • You will be responsible for conducting consistent, high-value client meetings and in-depth discovery sessions. These interactions will be guided by the Gem.com Sales Playbook, ensuring a structured and effective approach to understanding client challenges and positioning our solutions.
- • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with Salesforce Account Executives and account teams, navigating complex co-sell environments to deliver integrated solutions. Building and nurturing these relationships is crucial for mutual success and driving joint opportunities.
- • Partnering with our internal Capability Leaders and Delivery leadership, you will contribute to the development of compelling account strategies and proposals. This cross-functional collaboration ensures that our sales efforts are aligned with our delivery capabilities and market demands.
- • You will play a vital role in supporting solution design and scope development by collaborating with our presales and technical teams. Your insights from client interactions will inform the creation of tailored, high-impact solutions.
- • Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the entire engagement lifecycle is a core tenet of this role. This includes maintaining consistent delivery touchpoints and facilitating seamless project handoffs to our technical delivery teams, ensuring a positive and successful client experience from start to finish.
- • Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate Salesforce CRM is essential. You will be responsible for daily updates regarding pipeline status, activity tracking, and forecasting, providing critical visibility for sales operations and leadership.
