- • Analyze complex pharmaceutical transaction data using relational databases to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business strategies.
- • Develop custom data models, algorithms, and visualizations (dashboards and reports) in Tableau or similar tools to communicate findings to business and technical stakeholders.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clients, account representatives, and clinical staff to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- • Drive discussions on data context, implications, and recommendations with business and technology partners to guide decision-making.
- • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual workflows, optimizing data models, and enhancing visualization scalability.
- • Implement observability tools to monitor data quality, user engagement, and system performance to support strategic product enhancements and process optimization.
- • Perform root cause analysis on data logic changes and bugs to identify opportunities for product and process improvement.
- • Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation including project plans, business requirements, and technical specifications.
- • Communicate technical data specifications clearly to ensure accurate implementation of queries, models, and deliverables across teams.
- • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements including HIPAA and company policies related to data handling and privacy.
- • Mentor junior team members in data analytics best practices, tool usage, and analytical thinking.
- • Serve as the primary technical liaison between business users and data engineering teams to bridge communication gaps.
- • Explore and implement emerging data-centric analytics techniques to align with industry trends and evolving business objectives.
- • Manage high volumes of concurrent projects with strong ownership, meeting deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- • Initiate and lead new analytics projects with minimal supervision, anticipating management and client goals to drive proactive solutions.
- • Maintain outstanding verbal and written communication skills to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- • Demonstrate self-direction by supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products simultaneously.
- • Continuously learn and master new technologies, tools, and analytical methods to enhance data capabilities and deliver innovative solutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • B.S. in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a similar field
- • 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics
- • Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization and analytics tools
- • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases and query authoring
- • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with ability to work in cross-functional teams
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with shifting priorities
