📋 Description
- • The Client Services Operations Support Representative I (SCA) provides essential clerical and operational support to Performant’s Healthcare Eligibility and Recovery Services business, ensuring accurate and timely processing of high-volume transactional work critical to healthcare payment integrity.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include copying, filing, document and mail processing, basic data entry, handling incoming correspondence (including posting payments via checks, EFT, and debit/credit cards), contacting insurance carriers and healthcare providers via phone to gather payment information, and operating general office equipment while adhering to company, client, and regulatory standards.
- • The role is part of Machinify, a leading healthcare intelligence company formed after its acquisition of Performant in October 2025, which serves over 75 health plans—including many of the top 20—representing more than 170 million lives through its AI-powered operating system that enhances speed, quality, and accuracy in healthcare payment processing.
- • The individual will develop foundational skills in healthcare operations, data entry accuracy, customer service, regulatory compliance, and office systems proficiency, with opportunities to build reliability, attention to detail, and workflow prioritization—key competencies for advancement in administrative, operations, or client support roles within healthcare services.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent required
- • Some experience in customer service or clerical work required; one year or more of related office clerical support experience preferred
- • Ability to perform basic tasks in Microsoft Excel and Word with occasional assistance
- • Fast and accurate typing and 10-key skills
- • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
