Your primary objective will be to drive successful outcomes for these clients while simultaneously enhancing the profitability, scalability, and repeatability of Scale Army's engagements.
  • • You will be entrusted with a portfolio of high-value enterprise clients, serving as their dedicated strategic operations partner. This involves a deep dive into their business challenges, the meticulous shaping of tailored solutions, and the precise translation of high-level strategy into actionable execution plans. Your influence will extend across the entire client engagement lifecycle, from initial onboarding and growth phases through to maturity.
  • • A core component of your responsibility will be to own key revenue and retention levers within your client portfolio. This includes meticulous forecasting of revenue and margins, proactive management of account health, and identifying opportunities for expansion and renewal. Your success will directly impact the long-term value and sustainability of these client relationships.

  • • Driving revenue and account growth will be a significant focus. You will collaborate on expansion opportunities, renewals, and the scoping of additional services, ensuring that Scale Army's value proposition is continuously maximized for each client.
  • • Accurate forecasting of revenue, margin, and retention across your portfolio is essential for strategic planning and resource allocation. You will leverage data and your business insights to create reliable projections.
  • • You will actively identify whitespace opportunities within client accounts, uncovering latent talent needs and operational gaps. Based on these insights, you will develop data-backed growth plans that align with both client objectives and Scale Army's service offerings.
  • • Supporting commercial proposals with compelling business cases and sound financial logic will be a key contribution, ensuring that new and expanded engagements are strategically sound and financially viable.
  • • Operating as a strategic operator means dissecting client go-to-market strategies, operational frameworks, delivery models, and organizational designs. You will lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic discussions with executive stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations with clarity and conviction.
  • • You will be empowered to challenge existing assumptions, propose innovative alternatives, and defend your recommendations with robust data analysis. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, manage escalations with grace, and conduct complex conversations with calm, structured thinking will be critical to your success.
  • • Utilizing data as your operating system is fundamental. You will build and maintain essential forecasts, scorecards, and dashboards, leveraging tools like HubSpot, Google Sheets, and internal systems to provide clear visibility into performance metrics.
  • • Your insights and recommendations must be directly tied to key metrics that matter to both Scale Army leadership and our clients, demonstrating a clear return on investment and strategic impact.
  • • This role offers a clear growth path, starting with owning and scaling a portfolio of enterprise clients, progressing to leading a small team, and ultimately having the opportunity to build and shape the Deal Success & Client Operations function into a high-impact system that unifies client success, revenue performance, and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 4 years of experience in roles such as Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Consulting, Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, Customer Strategy, or similar analytical and client-facing positions.
  • • Proven experience working within high-performing tech, SaaS, or growth-stage companies, or in consulting/strategy-led environments known for strong analytical rigor and client problem-solving.
  • • Demonstrated experience in smaller, fast-growing environments where you have actively built processes and structure, rather than just following them.
  • • Strong business intuition and the ability to quickly map and understand complex business models, identifying key levers for improvement.
  • • Financial acumen, including comfort with margins, unit economics, forecasting, and building defensible business cases.
  • • Executive presence and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including founders and executives, with confidence and data-driven reasoning.
  • • A track record of owning outcomes, including revenue, retention, and expansion, for a portfolio of clients or a specific business unit.
