- • Lead the development of clinical requirements by applying clinical knowledge to integrate clinical practice with technology into workflows that support safe and efficient patient care.
- • Serve as a clinical liaison between end-users, clinicians, internal teams, and application technology vendors to ensure accurate translation of clinical needs into technical specifications.
- • Translate business requirements into detailed product-specific designs, functional requirement specifications, and use cases for healthcare technology solutions.
- • Deliver comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, design documents, clinical process workflows, and regulatory compliance materials for new development projects and system enhancements.
- • Collaborate closely with Systems Analysts during software build, configuration, and testing phases to ensure alignment with clinical workflows and user needs.
- • Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans using real-world clinical scenarios to validate new application functionality, product releases, and regulatory updates.
- • Demonstrate new system functionality to clinical users, gather feedback, and incorporate input to guide future product direction and improvements.
- • Directly interface with business users by responding to escalated support calls from the Service Desk to resolve clinical system issues promptly.
- • Participate in user focus groups, requirements workshops, vendor training sessions, and product demonstrations to align technology solutions with clinical operational needs.
- • Ensure all technology solutions meet customer delivery timelines and uphold exceptional quality standards for patient safety and care efficiency.
- • Support go-live activities with on-site presence during critical implementation phases, traveling up to 15% of the time as required.
- • Maintain advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams) to produce high-quality documentation and deliver presentations to clinical and technical stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate strong project management conviction, proactively taking ownership of tasks and embracing new challenges in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2-4 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar clinical informatics role
- • Valid clinical certification and/or license required
- • Senior-level functional knowledge of healthcare application technology
- • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
- • Strong conviction in the value of project management and willingness to take on new challenges
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of advanced coursework, training, and industry experience preferred
