• • Your contributions will directly strengthen care delivery processes, ensure unwavering adherence to regulatory compliance standards, and significantly enhance the overall patient and family experience within home health and hospice programs.
• • A core responsibility involves meticulous review of medical records to identify and validate clinical elements, ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation.
• • You will conduct in-depth reviews of post-acute home health and hospice documentation, scrutinizing medical records for the accuracy of clinical elements and adherence to best practices.
• • This role requires you to research and provide expert commentary and recommendations on complex or newly issued billing regulations pertinent to home health and hospice care, staying ahead of evolving compliance landscapes.
• • You will analyze client information systems to assess the completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring data integrity.
• • A significant aspect of the role involves conducting regular (weekly) calls with clients to present detailed findings, discuss results of engagements, and collaboratively develop action plans.
• • You will be tasked with analyzing clinical operational trends, identifying areas of concern, and formulating actionable process improvement recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of care and optimizing patient outcomes.
• • A critical function includes reviewing documentation associated with focused medical reviews and expertly writing appeals for denied services, providing comprehensive denial support up to the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) level of appeals.
• • You will actively participate in cross-team clinical consulting initiatives, contributing your expertise to broader organizational projects and collaborative efforts.
• • This position demands a deep understanding of the conditions of participation and conditions of payment within the home health and hospice sectors, coupled with extensive knowledge of regulatory standardized assessment documents and patient care protocols.
• • You will leverage your proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, to analyze data, prepare reports, and deliver impactful presentations.
• • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are paramount, enabling you to effectively convey complex information, present findings, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
