📋 Description

  • Vira Health is at the forefront of transforming women's healthcare through innovative technology, offering virtual clinical care, comprehensive educational resources, and dedicated support across a wide spectrum of women's health, including fertility, hormonal health, pregnancy, parenting, perimenopause, menopause, and family health. By partnering with employers and health plans, Vira Health is committed to enhancing health outcomes and making evidence-based women's healthcare globally accessible. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a pivotal part of this mission, directly impacting the lives of millions of women who often navigate complex health decisions with limited information and insufficient time with healthcare providers.
  • As a Clinical Educator within Vira Health's Member Zone, you will dedicate focused, meaningful time to members, empowering them with the knowledge to understand their health concerns, interpret scientific information, and approach their medical appointments with confidence and preparedness. These are structured virtual education sessions, lasting between 15 to 30 minutes, specifically designed to provide clear, unhurried conversations. Crucially, this role does not involve clinical evaluation, prescribing, or ongoing patient management, distinguishing it from traditional clinical roles and allowing for a deep focus on education and empowerment. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting these virtual, education-only calls with members, addressing health topics within your expertise such as fertility, hormonal health, pregnancy, menopause, family health, and even men's health, leveraging your clinical background to provide accurate and accessible information. You will also have the opportunity to lead engaging group webinars and workshops in your areas of deep expertise, with comprehensive support from Vira’s dedicated staff. Responding to general health questions via asynchronous messaging on a non-urgent basis will be another key responsibility, ensuring members receive timely and reliable information. A core part of your role will be to provide evidence-based health information, practical lifestyle guidance, and effective self-management strategies tailored to individual member needs. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with Vira Care Advocates (Navigators/Coaches) to guide members in navigating the healthcare system, assisting them in finding appropriate clinical care and facilitating necessary referrals, thereby acting as a crucial bridge between education and access to care.
  • You will be an integral part of a dynamic and growing team at Vira Health, an organization driven by a clear mission to improve health outcomes for women and families worldwide. The team is international, spanning across the US, UK, and Canada, and united by regular virtual meetings and a shared commitment to Vira's core values. This collaborative environment fosters innovation and allows for diverse perspectives to contribute to the company's success. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, including other clinicians, product developers, and operations specialists, contributing to a holistic approach to member care and platform development.
  • This role presents significant opportunities for professional growth and development. You will gain invaluable experience in health literacy, disease prevention, and patient empowerment within a cutting-edge digital health environment. As Vira Health expands its global platform, you will have the chance to shape the clinical education strategy, contributing to the development of new educational content, clinical pathways, and member education protocols. You can deepen your expertise by creating new educational materials such as articles, care plans, videos, and webinar content, and by reviewing existing materials for clinical accuracy and relevance. This role allows you to continuously learn and apply new evidence and practice guidelines, ensuring the highest standard of care and education. The flexible nature of the role and the potential for increased involvement based on member demand and geographic expansion offer a unique career trajectory within the rapidly evolving field of women's health technology.
