📋 Description
- • Vira Health is a pioneering women's healthcare technology company dedicated to transforming health outcomes and making evidence-based women's healthcare accessible globally. We achieve this by partnering with employers and health plans to deliver virtual clinical care, comprehensive educational resources, and robust support systems across a wide spectrum of women's health, including fertility, hormonal health, pregnancy, parenting, perimenopause, menopause, and family health. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in empowering millions of women who often navigate complex health decisions with insufficient information and limited time with their healthcare providers. Your contribution will directly address this gap, ensuring members feel informed and prepared for their medical appointments.
- • As a Clinical Educator, your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around providing focused, meaningful, and unhurried virtual education sessions to members. These sessions, typically lasting 15-30 minutes, are strictly educational and do not involve clinical evaluation, prescribing, or ongoing patient management. You will conduct these virtual calls on a variety of health topics within your areas of expertise, which may include fertility, hormonal health, pregnancy, menopause, family health, and men's health. A key aspect of this role is leading group webinars and workshops, leveraging your deep expertise with the support of Vira’s dedicated staff. You will also respond to general health questions submitted via asynchronous messaging on a non-urgent basis, providing evidence-based health information, practical lifestyle guidance, and effective self-management strategies. In close collaboration with Vira Care Advocates (Navigators/Coaches), you will guide members in navigating the healthcare system and facilitate appropriate referrals to clinical care, ensuring a seamless and supportive member journey.
- • Beyond direct member interaction, you will play a crucial role in content development and ensuring clinical quality. This involves creating new educational content for the Member Zone, including articles, personalized care plans, engaging videos, and comprehensive webinar materials. You will also be responsible for reviewing existing content to ensure its clinical accuracy, incorporating the latest pertinent evidence and practice guidelines. A significant focus will be placed on developing educational materials that are culturally sensitive and appropriate for diverse audiences across various geographical backgrounds. You will collaborate closely with Vira’s internal resources to validate the translation of complex medical information into easily understandable, member-friendly content. Furthermore, you will ensure that all educational materials strictly comply with regulatory requirements across all relevant markets, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. You will participate actively in clinical quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our services. You will also contribute to the development of clinical pathways and member education protocols, shaping the future of women's health education. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including fellow clinicians, product managers, and operations specialists, fostering a cohesive and innovative environment. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who is deeply passionate about health literacy, disease prevention, and empowering individuals to make informed health decisions. It offers a flexible, part-time engagement with significant growth potential as our global platform continues to expand, providing a chance to make a tangible impact on women's health worldwide.
- • The team at Vira Health is an international collective, spanning across the US, UK, and Canada, united by a shared commitment to improving health outcomes for women and families globally. We foster a collaborative environment through regular virtual meetings and a strong adherence to our core values: Evidence-based, Accessible, Inclusive, Empowering, and Collaborative. As our member base expands, so does the opportunity for you to deepen your involvement and contribute to our mission. This role is designed for individuals seeking meaningful work that aligns with a mission-driven organization, offering a chance to be at the forefront of digital health innovation in women's care.
