- ⢠As a Clinical Implementation Specialist at DexCom, you will play a pivotal role in advancing diabetes care by supporting the adoption and effective use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology across the Midlands region, directly improving patient outcomes and empowering healthcare teams with expert clinical guidance.
- ⢠You will deliver hands-on clinical support for CGM initiation, sensor insertion, troubleshooting, and data interpretation for patients and carers, while simultaneously training healthcare professionals to independently manage CGM therapy, ensuring sustainable, technology-enabled diabetes care in primary and secondary care settings.
- ⢠You will design and deliver structured education and training programmes for healthcare professionals, patients, and carers on CGM use, data interpretation (including Time in Range), alerts, and lifestyle integration, developing tailored resources such as presentations, workshops, and onboarding materials for new clinical sites adopting Dexcom systems.
- ⢠You will act as a trusted clinical partner to diabetes teams, providing expert advice on CGM indications, contraindications, clinical pathways, and evidence-based benefits, supporting ethical adoption and addressing queries on CGM data to inform clinical decision-making and improve diabetes management.
- ⢠You will collaborate cross-functionally with Territory Sales Managers, Patient Care, Medical Affairs, regulatory, and product teams to gather real-world insights, support product launches and post-market surveillance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and clinical programmes based on frontline feedback.
- ⢠You will uphold the highest standards of compliance and professional practice by adhering to regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of diabetes care guidelines and CGM evidence, keeping your professional registration and CPD current, and accurately documenting all clinical activities using approved systems.
- ⢠You will operate as a field-based specialist across Leicestershire, BSOL, Derby and Derbyshire, and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, traveling to hospitals, clinics, GP practices, and community settings, combining in-person visits with virtual consultations via Teams, email, and webinars, with occasional evening, weekend, or overnight work to support clinical events or meetings.

đŻ Requirements
- ⢠You are a registered healthcare professional (e.g., Registered Nurse, Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Diabetes Specialist Dietitian, or equivalent clinical background).
- ⢠You have a minimum of 3+ yearsâ experience in a patient-centred environment with demonstrated diabetes knowledge.
- ⢠You hold a valid driving licence and are willing to travel across the Midlands region for field-based work.
- ⢠You possess excellent communication and presentation skills for educating diverse clinical audiences, including senior healthcare professionals.
- ⢠You have a strong understanding of CGM systems and glucose data interpretation, with the ability to translate complex technical information into practical clinical guidance.
- ⢠You are educated to at least Diploma level, preferably with a degree or evidence of degree-level study.
