- • As a Clinical Outreach Specialist at PHIL, you will serve as a vital bridge between healthcare providers and the company’s mission to ensure consistent, reliable, and affordable access to specialty pharmaceutical prescriptions. Your role directly impacts patient outcomes by strengthening relationships with prescribers and their office teams, enabling smoother prescription workflows and reducing barriers to life-saving medications. This position is critical to PHIL’s growth strategy as it scales its provider network across the U.S., supporting the company’s goal to double its workforce in the coming year.
- • You will engage in daily outreach to healthcare provider offices via phone and digital channels, building rapport with office staff and physicians to establish trust and long-term partnerships. Your responsibilities include educating providers on PHIL’s end-to-end prescription lifecycle, explaining program-specific rules such as patient copay expectations and processing timelines, and guiding offices through the prior authorization process to improve coverage success rates. You will triage and resolve order-related escalations with empathy and precision, using active listening to identify root causes and de-escalate concerns while recommending actionable improvements to internal teams based on frontline feedback.
- • You will continuously adapt to evolving office engagement strategies and new program launches, learning quickly to adjust your approach as PHIL refines its HCP engagement model. By understanding the unique needs of different provider specialties and patient populations, you will tailor your communication to increase medication access and adherence. Your insights will directly inform product and process improvements, helping PHIL enhance the overall experience for healthcare partners and drive systemic efficiency in specialty drug access.
- • PHIL is a mission-driven, Series D health-tech startup headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, with operational hubs in Columbus, OH, and a fully remote workforce spanning over 25 states. Founded in 2015, the company is dedicated to transforming how patients access specialty medications by connecting doctors, pharmacies, and patients through a seamless digital platform. With over 120 employees and rapid growth ahead, PHIL fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and purpose—where every team member contributes to improving health outcomes for underserved patient communities.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare operations, specialty pharmacy workflows, and provider engagement strategies—skills that are highly transferable across the health-tech and healthcare services industries. You will gain hands-on experience with EHR systems, prior authorization processes, and cross-functional problem-solving, positioning you for advancement into senior outreach, provider relations, or healthcare operations leadership roles within PHIL or the broader industry.
