- • Monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites to ensure compliance with protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and all applicable regulations and standards.
- • Coordinate all necessary activities to set up and monitor clinical studies, including identifying qualified investigators and assisting with regulatory submissions.
- • Conduct pre-study visits, initiation visits, and routine monitoring visits to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance at clinical trial sites.
- • Maintain an impeccable eye for detail to detect discrepancies, deviations, and potential study risks, and propose actionable mitigation strategies.
- • Prepare thoroughly for investigator meetings, site visits, and project team updates, consistently staying ahead of project timelines and requirements.
- • Respond calmly and thoughtfully to unexpected challenges or deviations in study conduct, applying creative and effective problem-solving approaches.
- • Take full responsibility for the quality and outcomes of your monitoring activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of issues.
- • Handle conflicts at investigative sites using proven resolution strategies to maintain positive relationships and study continuity.
- • Work remotely from home anywhere in Italy, with domestic travel to clinical trial sites accounting for approximately 50-60% of time, including overnight stays.
- • Serve as a protocol expert by managing a lower-than-industry-average number of protocols, enabling deeper focus and expertise per study.
- • Contribute meaningfully to team decisions and company direction, leveraging the collaborative culture of a smaller CRO where your voice is heard and valued.
- • Support Precision for Medicine’s mission in precision oncology by ensuring high-quality clinical trial execution that informs real-time treatment decisions.
- • Collaborate with medical, operational, and data analytics teams to advance targeted, adaptive clinical trials for rare diseases and oncology therapies.
- • Apply knowledge of biomarkers and molecular-level tumor analysis to enhance clinical trial design and site monitoring practices.
- • Maintain fluency in both English and Italian to effectively communicate with international teams and Italian investigative sites.
- • Adhere to company privacy policies and data protection standards throughout all aspects of clinical trial monitoring and documentation.
🎯 Requirements
- • University degree in life science, pharmacy, or other health-related discipline, or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare field, or a licensed healthcare professional
- • At least 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry, or equivalent demonstrated competencies
- • Oncology experience
- • CRA Certification holder
- • Availability for domestic travel up to 50-60% of time, including overnight stays
- • Fluency in both English and Italian
