- • Drive sales of genetic diagnostic testing services within assigned geographical territory by developing new business and educating healthcare providers on the value of personalized medicine.
- • Engage key decision-makers in oncology, cardiology specialty practices, and executive clinics within enterprise healthcare systems to adopt Helix’s genomic testing solutions.
- • Build comprehensive knowledge of customers, prospects, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and internal processes to inform sales strategy.
- • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and prospecting to account growth, contract negotiation, and post-sale support.
- • Participate in and facilitate account agreements, educational programs, in-service training sessions, and customer support initiatives to ensure successful implementation of testing services.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and activity records within the CRM system, documenting all leads, contacts, opportunities, and interactions.
- • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to revenue targets and customer adoption metrics.
- • Travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight trips, to meet with clients, attend conferences, and conduct on-site educational sessions.
- • Collaborate with internal teams including clinical, marketing, and operations to align sales efforts with product capabilities and customer needs.
- • Stay current on advancements in genomics, clinical testing protocols, and healthcare reimbursement trends to effectively communicate the clinical utility of Helix’s offerings.
- • Represent Helix professionally in all customer interactions, ensuring alignment with company values of innovation, integrity, and patient-centered care.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and training materials based on field experience and customer feedback.
- • Leverage deep understanding of the clinical testing process to translate complex genomic data into actionable insights for healthcare providers.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for performance outcomes and pipeline health.
- • Participate in onboarding, Helix U training, and ongoing professional development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences
- • Minimum two years of direct sales experience in the diagnostics industry
- • Understanding of the genomics industry and clinical testing processes
- • Advanced science degree preferred
- • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales territory
