- • As a Clinical Staff Pharmacist Remote at Prime Therapeutics, you will play a vital role in ensuring appropriate medication access by processing Utilization Management requests such as prior authorizations, formulary exceptions, step therapy, and quantity limit reviews for delegated products and services.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating clinical coverage determinations, consulting with healthcare providers on non-formulary and clinical product issues, collaborating with team members for consistent decision-making, and responding to medication-related inquiries via phone from patients, providers, and clinics.
- • You will be part of Prime Therapeutics’ mission-driven PBM team focused on connecting care beyond profits, supporting patients through evidence-based pharmacy practices in a fully remote work environment.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen your clinical pharmacy expertise in managed care, strengthen communication and collaboration skills, and contribute to fair, consistent coverage decisions that impact patient outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
- • Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy
- • 1+ years of work experience in clinical, retail, hospital, or managed care pharmacy settings
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to work efficiently with computers and digital tools
- • Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
