- • The Clinician Onboarding Manager at Array Behavioral Care plays a critical role in ensuring new clinicians are fully prepared to deliver high-quality virtual mental health care by overseeing their end-to-end onboarding, training, and readiness for clinical practice. This role directly impacts patient access and care quality by enabling clinicians to confidently and efficiently launch their practice using Array’s technology and workflows.
- • Day to day, the Clinician Onboarding Manager will own clinician participation in onboarding sessions, design and deliver comprehensive training programs covering EMR (Epic), technology setup, workflows, and compliance, validate clinician readiness before go-live, manage provider profile setup across digital platforms, maintain and update training resources, collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine materials, deliver targeted training for system updates, identify and address training gaps through job aids and follow-up education, and continuously evaluate onboarding effectiveness using feedback and operational data to improve scalability and outcomes.
- • The Clinician Onboarding Manager will work closely with Clinical Leadership, Medical Affairs, Clinician Experience, People Operations, Account Management, Implementation, and Operations teams within Array Behavioral Care, a nationwide leader in virtual psychiatry and therapy that partners with hospitals, health systems, community organizations, and payors to expand access to behavioral health care through innovative telepsychiatry solutions.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in healthcare onboarding program management, virtual training facilitation, EMR workflow optimization (particularly Epic), cross-functional collaboration in healthcare operations, and clinician readiness assessment — gaining the ability to scale training programs while maintaining high standards of engagement, compliance, and clinical preparedness in a rapidly growing telehealth environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • 5+ years of experience in clinical onboarding, training coordination, or healthcare education with a proven track record of supporting clinicians through complex training and readiness workflows
- • Proficiency in Epic and ability to quickly learn and adapt to Array’s clinical workflows, EMR processes, and virtual care technologies
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to lead engaging, well-structured remote training sessions and teach clinicians effectively in a virtual environment
- • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple onboarding workflows, deadlines, and competing priorities simultaneously
- • Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort troubleshooting tech-related issues, system access problems, and workflow barriers during onboarding and training
- • Proven collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with Clinical Operations, Training & Development, Account Management, Implementation, and other cross-functional partners
- • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including managing shared sites, documents, training materials, and operational workflows in a digital environment
