Your primary mission will be to translate complex technical capabilities into tangible business value, fostering strong relationships with clients and becoming their trusted advisor in their cloud transformation journey.
- • You will engage in a comprehensive assessment of customer infrastructures and business objectives, meticulously identifying opportunities where Red Hat's offerings can drive efficiency, innovation, and scalability. This deep understanding will form the foundation for designing and implementing tailored solutions.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve the hands-on implementation of Red Hat's core cloud technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage (leveraging Ceph and Gluster). You will also work extensively with Kubernetes-based technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- • You will architect and deploy automated, containerized cloud application platforms, with a keen focus on critical infrastructure components. This encompasses a broad spectrum of areas, including robust networking configurations, resilient storage solutions, advanced virtualization techniques, stringent security measures, comprehensive logging and monitoring frameworks, and ensuring high availability and system resilience.
- • Continuous learning and rapid adaptation to new technologies are paramount. You will be expected to quickly grasp and master emerging concepts in container orchestration, container registries, advanced container build strategies, cloud-native storage solutions, and software-defined networking.
- • You will act as a subject matter expert, providing invaluable guidance on technical, developmental, and strategic IT challenges faced by our customers. Your insights will help shape their cloud strategy and roadmap.
- • The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of complex open-source solutions, from initial problem identification and system architecture definition to software specification, design, rigorous testing, and successful deployment.
- • Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you will need to adjust your approach and solutions to meet evolving customer requirements and project scopes.
- • You will be responsible for responding to critical incidents, managing escalations, and resolving exceptions in a professional and timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
- • Delivering high-quality results is non-negotiable. This includes producing comprehensive project journals, detailed status reports, and other essential documentation, all while adhering to project timelines and staying within the defined scope.
- • You will also play a vital role in pre-sales activities, participating in sales presentations and proposal development, thereby contributing to the growth and success of the Red Hat Consulting team.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from startups to large enterprises, helping them navigate the complexities of cloud adoption and digital transformation.
- • You will be instrumental in demonstrating the value proposition of Red Hat's open-source solutions, showcasing how they can drive innovation, reduce costs, and enhance operational agility.
- • The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a passion for open-source technologies, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- • You will collaborate with internal Red Hat teams, including product engineering and support, to ensure customer success and contribute to the continuous improvement of Red Hat's offerings.
- • By joining Red Hat, you become part of a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, contributing to a global community of open-source enthusiasts.
