- • Serve as the primary liaison between Guidewire customers and internal Guidewire teams to ensure successful cloud go-live and production transition.
- • Lead the development, refinement, and execution of Deployment Plans from “Build” to “Run,” coordinating all phases of the path to production.
- • Conduct and schedule Dry Runs to validate deployment readiness, ensuring alignment between customer and Guidewire teams.
- • Confirm resourcing requirements for both Guidewire and non-Guidewire stakeholders to finalize deployment timelines and deliverables.
- • Establish and manage Go-Live communication plans in collaboration with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Implementation Teams.
- • Act as an internal subject-matter expert on cutover and deployment processes, providing guidance to Guidewire Global Support and DBA teams.
- • Coordinate knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure seamless post-production support and operational continuity.
- • Analyze deployment process data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in cloud go-live practices.
- • Educate customers and partners on deployment templates, resource needs, and best practices for cloud migration and SaaS environments.
- • Maintain professional communication with customers at technical and executive levels, ensuring timely responses and a strong sense of urgency in production environments.
- • Adapt to evolving solution offerings by triaging issues, prioritizing tasks, and adjusting plans dynamically in fast-paced environments.
- • Support production go-lives on a monthly basis, including up to one weekend per month as required by customer time zones and deployment schedules.
- • Participate in up to 10% on-site work at Guidewire locations, with occasional international travel (1–2 times per year) for corporate or organizational events.
- • Collaborate with Implementation Teams, including Guidewire Delivery Services and SI Partners, to align on deployment milestones and customer readiness.
- • Utilize customer and support systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Google Workspace, and Confluence to manage deployment workflows and documentation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent
- • Authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
- • Strong knowledge of cloud migration processes and customer readiness for Go-Live
- • Proven experience with SaaS vs. on-premise deployments
- • Experience using customer/support systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Google Workspace, and Confluence
- • Ability to manage complex Deployment Plans and Dry Runs in time-sensitive production environments
