- • As a Cloud Software Architect at Caylent, you will serve as a mission control specialist guiding engineers and customers through Agile ceremonies, translating requirements into actionable backlogs, and leading architecture discussions to deliver AWS-native solutions across diverse industries.
- • Day to day, you will delegate tickets to engineering teams, troubleshoot issues across dev/test/prod environments, automate testing at multiple levels, write production-quality code with unit and integration tests, and apply DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and security monitoring.
- • Caylent is a cloud-native services company specializing in AWS solutions, operating fully remote with teams across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America, where technological curiosity and inclusive culture are core values.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud architecture, mentor peers, stay curious with emerging technologies like Generative AI, and grow as a technical leader while delivering cutting-edge cloud applications that drive customer innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of proven experience in software development and cloud-native systems
- • Expertise in web technologies (HTML, CSS) and frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, MVC .Net, etc.)
- • Proficiency in server-side scripting (Python, Node.js, PHP, Ruby, etc.) and deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- • Experience configuring AWS resources and understanding of modern application architectures (microservices, event-based systems, queues)
- • Ability to lead workstreams, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
